TRIM TRIO is Souriau’s flagship industrial connector derived from MIL norms but using size 16 contacts (1.6mm). Originally developed in the 1960s the product ranges have developed to various sub-series and different design variations.

In parallel with the size 16 contacts high density versions have evolved using size 20 contacts (1.0mm) and on mixed signal / power versions using size 16 contacts in combination with size 12 (2.4mm) and size 8 (3.6)mm contacts.

High Density TRIM TRIO

Using size 20 contacts (1.0mm) High Density TRIM TRIO (UT0W) is fully intermateable with MIL-C-26482 S1 connectors. MIL-C-26482 Series I solder and crimp connectors have many uses in the industrial marketplace.

Industrial users of MIL-C-26482 Series I have designed this product into their programs because many resources are available, its adaptability as a multi-pin connector and its positive bayonet coupling system. These parameters are the same on the UT0W connectors.

There are 3 fundamental reasons for a customer to change over to UT0W connectors:

1. Higher contact density allowing weight and space savings
2. ‘Best in Class’ performance with an IP68 waterproof bayonet connection

Mixed Power/Signal TRIM TRIO

Mixed Power/Signal TRIM TRIO connectors using mixed contacts for power versions up till 44 Amp feature heavy duty TRIM TRIO connectors (VGE1)

The VGE1 connector series is an enhanced version of the VG 95234 connector standard but remains completely intermountable with VG 95234: the MS 5015reverse bayonet system.

The TRIM TRIO contacts used in the VGE1 series are:

• Size 12 contacts (2.4mm)
